How to clean set in bathtub stains.

To start the initial process of cleaning your bathtub stains, you must first identify the type of bathtub you're going to clean. There are several types of bathtubs.

There's the porcelain tub, or stone-like bathtub, which is the most common type of bathtub found in homes today. There's the enamel bathtub, which is mostly seen in older homes. There's also the acrylic bathtub, which is a more shiny, plastic looking bathtub.

For porcelain bathtubs:

1. Take a bit of Comet or Ajax cleaning powder and mix it in with warm water

2. Mix well until a paste is created

3. Spread the pastes onto the stains you are cleaning and allow to sit for 30 minutes to an hour.

4. After paste has sat take a dish sponge and scrub the bathtub areas that have the paste on

5. After you're done scrubbing rinse your bathtub with water to remove the remains of the paste

For enamel bathtubs:

1. STAY AWAY FROM BLEACH

2. Any household commercial cleaner can be used with enamel bathtubs

3. Simply spray the cleaning solution on the spot you desire to be cleaned

4. Allow to sit for at least 15 minutes, wipe clean, the rinse your bathtub with water.

For acrylic bathtubs:

3. Shake the mixture together then spray onto the stains
